Wild Blue Skies Unveils Gameplay Reveal Trailer

Developer Chuhai Labs with publisher Humble Games are working together to create Wild Blue Skies, an on-rails adventure inspired by the 90s. Joining Bowie Stray and the Blue Bombers, you'll head into the skies to fight against enemies in 3D airship battles in a journey to save the world.

For those looking forward to the Starfox 64–inspired title, the team released a trailer on the official Humble Games YouTube channel, offering 4:21 of gameplay to check out. Showcasing Mission 2 "HURRICANE Into The Storm", the developers show off the gameplay of the on-rails shooter, including dodges, attacks, a boss, and some narrative elements.

While we're far from hearing about an official release date, with Wild Blue Skies having been announced in March 2025, it's a great hands-on look at an in-engine gameplay look. It's extended, covers the whole level, and though it's still in development, it's a great taste of what's to come.
