World of Final Fantasy Coming This October

Clearly, it’s Final Fantasy year over at Square Enix. With re-releases, remasters and a whole new game coming, as well as a film and anime series, there’s a lot to look forward to for fans of the series already. And at the moment, we don’t even know if the Final Fantasy VII remaster is coming this year or not. On top of all that Final Fantasy goodness comes World of Final Fantasy; a spin-off title which will arrive on the PS4 and PS Vita on the 28th of October.

In the new game, players will lead a pair of twins, Reynn and Lann, on their journey through the world of Grymoire on a search to rediscover their lost memories. Throughout their journey, players will collect, raise and battle with the adorably familiar beings throughout the world including cactuar, chocobo and behemoth to customise and stack their army of monsters to create strategic tower combinations. Purchase a day one edition of the game and you will get the option to summon the legendary Final Fantasy VII character Sephiroth as well.
