Worms Rumble's First Free Content Update Announced

Team 17 has unveiled the first free content update for Worms Rumble, its 32-player, third-person shooter take on the Worms franchise. Featuring a new map, limited-time game modes and fresh cosmetics, the update will release on the 17th December for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5 and PC.

The new map, Deadly Dockyard, is set in a busy dockyard with moving ships, functioning cranes and crates which can be destroyed. The new cosmetics include character outfits, Worms Armageddon-themed weapon skins and emotes. Keep an eye out for some Christmas-themed cosmetics too!

Finally (and admittedly not part of this update), The Lab is now available for players to participate in. This mode is out now, providing limited-time access to a range of interesting and novel game modes. Most recently, the game mode "Pistols at Dawn" was made available between the 10th and 12th December; players who took part earned themselves a Gold Worm Skin for their troubles! The first free content update for Worms Rumble releases on the 17th December for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5 and PC. The entire game is free for PlayStation Plus subscribers in month of December.
