Xbox Confirms The Elder Scrolls VI's Exclusivity

Phil Spencer, the head of Xbox conducted an interview with GQ about the 20th anniversary of Xbox, and Elder Scrolls VI was one of the topics of the conversation.

Earlier at E3 Microsoft confirmed that Starfield, arguably one of the biggest games of 2022 will be exclusive to Xbox and PC. Phil Spencer said that he sees the same for The Elder Scrolls VI.

‘It’s not about punishing any other platform, like I fundamentally believe all of the platforms can continue to grow,’ said Phil Spencer. ‘But in order to be on Xbox, I want us to be able to bring the full complete package of what we have. And that would be true when I think about Elder Scrolls VI. That would be true when I think about any of our franchises.’ he added.

Previous reports and Phil’s comments have always suggested that The Elder Scrolls VI was likely going to be exclusive to the Xbox ecosystem, but this is the first time that they have confirmed it.
