Yonder: The Cloud Catcher Sets a Release Date

Yonder: The Cloud Catcher Chronicles is a beautiful open-world adventure title set across a beautiful island, and it has just announced it's release date on the PlayStation 4 and PC.

Coming on the 18th of July 2017, Yonder is developed by Australian studio Prideful Sloth. The Aussie development team is composed of former Rocksteady developers and an Activision producer, and co-founder and lead designer Cheryl Vance says: "Yonder's gorgeous and immersive fantasy world will send players on an epic quest to revitalize a troubled land. With an inviting atmosphere, a massive open-world to explore and a wealth of mystery, Yonder will provide countless hours of entertainment."

The game follows a youth with a mysterious past shipwrecked on the island of Gemea, and features a big map with eight different environments, each with its own wildlife and ecosystem. Ranging from sunny sandy beaches to rolling grassy plains and steep snow-capped mountains, the island is enshrouded by an evil fog that's slowly destroying the tropical paradise. In typical game fashion, it's up to you to support residents through talents including fishing, farming, crafting, brewing, and cooking to build relationships with the locals and earn their help in your journey to restore Gemea and become its champion.

Yonder: The Cloud Catcher Chronicles is out on the 18th of July 2017 for PlayStation 4 and PC.

Looks like Breath of the Wild for people who don't want to buy a Switch...

Good point. So it's essentially Tesco Value Breath of the Wild.
