One Ship Two Ship Redshift Blueshift Review

One Ship Two Ship Redshift Blueshift Review

I like arcade games because they are simple and offer a lot of enjoyment without bringing in gameplay mechanics that are very hard to use. This exactly sums up One Ship Two Ship Redshift Blueshift, as this is a simple game with unique mechanics that’s very fun and immersive as this is a simple game with unique mechanics that's incredibly fun and immersive.

What makes this game unique is that it is a combination of paddle games and shoot-’em ups. This alone makes it quite amazing, because you have to go from one side of the screen to another trying to hit the ball with the paddle, all while checking the bonuses and defeating the enemy.

It can be quite hard to play at first because the controls, while simple, can give you a headache as the game is very fast-paced. However, it has a lot of potential since you can enjoy the title in all of its glory without learning too many mechanics.

Mastering the title is more difficult though, because the game is designed to bring you potential failure all the time. It’s interesting to see that the title was initially a Ludum Dare game jam prototype, but thankfully it became a fully-fledged game with more features added in it.

Aside from the normal threat offered by the enemy, you also need to face obstacles that appear once the enemy grabs a bonus. You can’t stop the enemy from getting bonuses, but you can get bonuses of your own, creating more of a challenge to your foe. If you find yourself struggling, you can play with a friend alongside you.

Using the gamepad in this game isn’t the only option, but it is the recommended one. You should always try to play with it because it provides better control, and since the ball can move very fast during the game, you can rest assured that the entire experience is well worth it.

It’s the sense of alertness that makes One Ship Two Ship Redshift Blueshift stand out for me, because the more you play, the better the gameplay manages to get. Of course, this, combined with the fact that you always have to face an enemy is, at the end of the day, what will keep you playing more and more, trying to get better scores.
You have two modes in this game, either fighter or paddle, and each of these is designed to offer you a different combination of elements.

Despite the fact that One Ship Two Ship Redshift Blueshift doesn’t have complex graphics, it offers very immersive, fun gameplay and a whole lot of unique mechanics. It’s fun to play, simplistic yet truly impressive at the same time, so you should totally try it out right now. It’s not the most complicated game ever, but at the end of the day it’s just a pleasant, fun title to play with your friends, something that is always interesting and relaxing.
