Kickstarter Hopefuls: Trial By Viking

One of the great things about gaming is how many stories based on old legends transformed into videogames. We have games that let us experience Greek legends in any way we choose. We also have games that will take us on many journeys across the east's many legends. We even have a game that puts various old gods against one another in a third person MOBA.

Now Dustin Hendricks might take us on a Norse Viking journey with his Kickstarter game Trial By Viking. Trial By Viking will be familiar territory for fans of such games as Rogue Legacy or any metroidvania. The Kickstarter page embraces this fact and states that these gamers will feel right at home. Cutscenes within the game will also shape what the final boss and ending of the game is based upon player choice. This game also gives the player plenty of weapon variations and power ups to help you along your journey.

Vikings were fearless masters of the sea with some awesome beards to boot, and Norse mythology has a wealth of curious tales pitting order against chaos. The deities in Norse mythology have some deeply human flaws, which allows for some great story telling.
