Apple Arcade – 3 Best Branded Games You Can Play Now

While everyone was getting excited about macOS Catalina during Apple’s September 2019 keynote, something different caught the attention of us gamers - Apple Arcade. This is a subscription-based service that offers over 100+ new games that can be played across most Apple devices - and they’ve mixed some unique titles with some big branded names!

Although it’s an online subscription service, this isn’t like the classic arcades of the 70s and 80s where you had to pay per game. You just pay each month and can play as much as you want while you have an active subscription. Of course in these games there isn’t a possibility to win any money. If you are after real money winnings, there are casino sites for that. View new online casinos as they are usually the most generous for new players and come equipped with loads of games to enjoy. More casinos and casino related content can be found from Casino-Professor.com, a site that reviews only safe and reputable casinos to guarantee safe play.

However, if you don’t want to spend any money at all then there’s actually a temporary way to get access to Apple Arcade for free. That’s because all players will be offered a free trial before the subscription kicks in. It will last for one month which gives you plenty of time to try out what’s on offer. To give you an idea, here are three of the best branded games for Apple Arcade.

Sonic Racing – SEGA

Sonic is everyone’s favourite blue hedgehog – he’s cute, cunning, and above all he’s fast! If you thought he couldn’t get any faster, then guess again, because in the Sonic Racing game for Apple Arcade, Sonic and his friends are gearing up and strapping in with their ultra-performance race cars.

In Sonic Racing, you can play as our hero or 14 other characters from the Sonic universe. Much like Mario Kart or Donkey Kong Racing, Sonic Racing is a battle racing game focused upon tactics and speed - and it has some really cool gameplay as evidenced in this video:

As you storm around the 15 tracks across five zones, your aim is to throw your opponents off course by using power-ups, traps, attacks and much more. In addition to this, you can also build your own Sonic team, capitalising on the special powers of your character, but also on those of your whole team.

You can play in single-player mode against the computer, or you can play in multiplayer mode - against your friends or people worldwide!

LEGO Brawls – LEGO

If you’re more into bricks than hedgehogs then LEGO Brawls is going to be the game for you. In LEGO Brawls, you play as your favourite, customised LEGO characters, with the aim of building your way to the top-spot brawler - as explained here:

You can play on all of the iconic LEGO levels and compete in the most exciting LEGO arenas, including NINJAGO, Castle, and Pirate. In addition to this, you can build and modify these levels as your play, along with customising your own power-ups for battling.

This is one of the latest incarnations of the historic LEGO brand, and Apple Arcade is the place to get your brick fix!

PAC-MAN Party Royale – BANDAI NAMCO

Last on our list is a game from one of the biggest, most influential, and biggest-selling series of all time: PAC-MAN Party Royale.

PAC-Man Party Royale is the newest game from the PAC-MAN brand. The game focuses on mixing their retro theme with new game mechanics like mobile play, or online play. The aim of the game is to stay on the board longer than anyone else, at the same time as eating as many pellets as is possible. Here’s the official trailer:

You can play against up to four of your friends in battle mode, at the same time as escaping from ghosts. The game features quirks like the Super Pellet and the possibility of your friends turning into ghosts to chase you.

Getting PAC-MAN is no small feat, even for Apple. The number of successful PAC-MAN games has spanned more than four decades and has more standalone games in its roster than many other brands around. In fact, the PAC-MAN brand has sold more than 14 billion dollars in revenue since its inception in 1980, making it one of the highest-grossing game franchises of all time. The classic arcade game was even chosen to be re-released as a quarter-sized cabinet such is its popularity.

If you like the sound of these historic brand games then make sure to check out the Apple Arcade and use it to its fullest potential.
