YUNZII M2 8K Wireless Gaming Mouse Review
When I was first shown the YUNZII M2 8K Wireless Gaming Mouse, I was a little sceptical about reviewing it because of how the texture looked in the pictures. Upon receiving the mouse, I was actually a little nervous to touch it while opening the box because of the texture sensitivity I experience due to my autism.
So, what do we get in the box? Well, the packaging has a nice image showing the colour of the mouse — I chose pink. When I slipped off the sleeve and lifted the lid, I found the mouse wrapped nicely and well protected, surrounded by sponge. Inside the box, there was also a neatly-tied cable, a manual, grip tape, charging tips, and a USB-A to USB-C adaptor. However, the manual gives no information at all about what the adapter is for, as the cable is an ordinary USB-C one.
I looked all through the manual for instructions on how to remove the dongle from the bottom of the mouse, but it took me a while to figure out that you need to press it slightly and slide it off to reveal the dongle. I first plugged it in to charge, and the only light is underneath the mouse. It glowed red while charging and turned green when fully charged. Personally, I think it would be a better idea if there were a light somewhere on top of the mouse — maybe under the left and right click buttons — to indicate when it is charging, fully charged, or running low.

It’s really easy to set up: just plug in the dongle, and you’re ready to use it. It has two main buttons as well as two buttons on the right side. When I moved my current mouse out of the way, I noticed that this one was a lot smaller, as well as much lighter. I don’t like that the left and right mouse buttons sound more pronounced when clicking. They are a little louder than I’m used to, which I don’t really enjoy.
When I looked at the box, I couldn’t help but laugh reading, “YUNZII — Where Art Meets Next-Level Typing.” But it’s a mouse! I won’t be typing with a mouse. I mean, no one can type with a mouse… right?
Overall, it has a very nice design and feels smooth to the touch, so anyone with touch sensitivity shouldn’t be alarmed by the image. While I won’t be using this mouse except as a backup, it's an overall decent bit of equipment.
