30,000 Deaths per Minute in Dawn of War III's First Weekend

SEGA have given us an insight into the opening weekend of Dawn of War III. Usually opening weekend stats are reserved for blockbuster movies, but this infographic shows the same frenzy can occur for big release games as well.

At the time the chart was compiled, 1,464,424 matches had been played across skirmish, campaign and multiplayer modes. Between all players of Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War III, over 101 years of playtime was clocked up! In that time a body count of nearly 180m was racked up, that’s a lot of death.

Keeping in the great Warhammer tradition of customisation, players have used the army painter to create 179,111 custom colour schemes. So it’s not just physical Warhammer players that like to make their armies their own clearly. Check out the infographic for more interesting facts about the strategy title, which is available now from all good retailers (and most of the bad ones too).
