Age of Wonders 4 Releases Latest Expansion Rise from Ruin Alongside Scorpion Update

Triumph Studios and Paradox Interactive's Age of Wonders 4 has been out for a few years now, as the team has been releasing new expansions throughout the game's lifespan. Now in its third Expansion Pass, the title has received plenty of updates for players who want to continue enjoying the gameplay.

Age of Wonders 4: Expansion Pass 3 has released its third major expansion — Age of Wonders 4: Rise from Ruin. Bringing in a new culture, form, wildlife, and magical tomes, players are invited to try to escape from the apocalypse with the speediest culture yet!

This is also launching alongside the free Scorpion update, which includes some changes, including gameplay updates, move speed normalization, quality-of-life improvements, and more! 0This update is out now alongside the Age of Wonders 4: Rise from Ruin expansion.

Now, owners of Age of Wonders 4: Expansion Pass 3 only have one more expansion to look forward to — Age of Wonders 4: Secrets of the Archmages. This should include new story realms, narrative events, tomes, wildlife, and more. It's set to launch sometime between April and June 2026.
