Originally released as an Oculus exclusive during the Quest 2 launch window, anime-style sci-fi adventure ALTDEUS: Beyond Chronos has been slated for releases later this year on PlayStation VR and Steam VR. Coming to Steam on the 19th February and PlayStation VR on the 15th April, the interactive story of humanity's survival within its last underground refuge will soon be available to a whole new set of audiences.
Set in the decimated Tokyo of 2280, we see humanity taking shelter underground from an alien race which overran the Earth's surface 200 years prior. As Chloe, a super-soldier tasked with ensuring the survival of the species, players must make choices, investigate mysteries and embark on dangerous missions with their virtual celebrity co-pilot Noa—all from first-person in VR. Players' choices will impact the outcome of the game's 15 to 20-hour branching narrative brought to life by a number of big names in anime design and voice performance.
