Amazon Acquires Developer Double Helix Games

Amazon have confirmed that they have purchased Killer Instinct and Strider developer Double Helix Games. The deal includes all Double Helix staff and intellectual property.

Double Helix's currently released and upcoming games will continue to be supported.

This story is adding fuel to the fire of the rumours that Amazon is planning to launch their own Android games device sometime this year. 

The next Double Helix title on the release schedule is Strider, which will be released on the 18th February for Playstation 3 and 4, and the 19th February for Xbox 360, Xbox One and Steam.
