Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer Announced

Announced during yesterday's Nintendo Direct, Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer will see players doing just that - designing homes.

Compatible with the new card amiibos, due out the same day, you are tasked with doing some interior decorating to make each character's house a home. The amiibos will be used to unlock new characters to design for, and to invite them into each others homes so you can watch them interact.

As the amiibos are already compatible with the New Nintendo 3DS, there will also be an external NFC reader, which will enable you to use amiibo with older 3DS and 2DS systems. Of course, this will be released the same day as well.

Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer, however, does not have a release date set - but is expected in autumn.
