Assemble Your Squad in Battlefield 2042’s Future Strike Event Reveal Trailer

Battlefield 2042 is ushering in a new squad vs squad, round-based game mode with the new Future Strike event, which will also bring new gear and bundles as part of the ongoing Season 7: Turning Point. With this new event on the horizon, its reveal trailer teases the high-intensity squad play set to arrive on the 28th of May and end on the 10th of June.

Featuring 4v4 and 8v8 gameplay, Future Strike’s new mode, Strike Team, will be available on 11 Maps, including Redacted, Reclaimed, Haven, Spearhead, Stadium, and more. With it being a round-based mode, the first team to win six rounds will win it all. A round’s winning team will be determined by who captures the objective first or eliminates the entire enemy team. As such, it’s vital to pick up your downed soldiers if they fall in battle.

If you play during the Future Strike event, you’ll have a chance to earn new gear as well, including:

• Rare Tag: Strength in Unity
• Epic Weapon Charm: L5 Winzig
• Epic RAH-68 HuronSkin: Talon Type-1
• Epic Rao Skin: United Stand

This new event comes just over a month out from EA’s announcement that Season 7: Turning Point is the final season of Battlefield 2042, as the team shifts to future projects for the Battlefield series.
