Awesome Indies GC 2025: Holdfast: Nations at War

Holdfast: Nations At War has done pretty well for itself in the five years since Anvil Game Studios released it on Steam. Now, that’s wonderful and lots of people have enjoyed it, but surely what a game about war needs is absolutely loads of expansions to buy? Yes, yes, there’s 11 of them on Steam, but what about the twelfth I hear you ask? Sid Meir wouldn’t only go up to 11.

Well, have I got some good news for you! If you want to give even more money to Anvil so they can keep a half-decade old game fresh and interesting, then there’s an expansion with ships in it or something coming. Holdfast: Nations At War - Age of Sail is coming in the fourth quarter of 2025. There’s a trailer up there.
