gamescom Opening Night Live 2025: Ninja Gaiden 4
Developed by the action game all-star collaboration of Team Ninja and Platinum Games, Ninja Gaiden 4 is the newest instalment in the legendary video game series, dating back to 1988 arcades. The protagonist Ryu Hayabusa is joined by a newcomer, prodigy ninja Yakumo.
In the trailer, we see Yakumo facing off against high-tech enemies with swords and guns, a one-armed cybernetic samurai, a demon with a scythe, and even Ryu himself with the help of a huge arsenal which includes giant spinning shurikens, dual-wield swords, tonfas, riding a drill-tipped spear, and two clawed mechanical arms attached to his back.
NINJA GAIDEN 4 is coming to Xbox Series X|S, Xbox PC, Xbox Cloud, PlayStation 5, and Steam on 21st October 2025.
