Awesome Indies GC 2025: Outbound

At the Awesome Indies Showcase at gamescom, Tobi Schnackenberg from Square Glade Games discussed Outbound, a cosy exploration game where you can customise and travel with your own vehicle.

There are survival elements to Outbound, including a HP bar for your vehicle, but it’s not survival in the way you would expect. It’s best described as cosy survival where you’re on a journey to learn more about yourself. But, you can also play it with your friends with up to four players online.

Focusing on sustainability, looking after your environment, while going on a digital roadtrip to encourage players to go on the journey they can’t necessarily do in reality. The new trailer doesn’t only show cinematics, but new gameplay elements that have never before been seen. If you’re interested in a cosy survival adventure, why not add Outbound to your wishlist?
