Bandai Namco Announces DRAGON BALL XENOVERSE 3 with Latest Trailer
Dimps Corporation and Bandai Namco Entertainment Inc. recently announced a brand-new entry to the famous DRAGON BALL XENOVERSE franchise. Released originally in 2015, players were invited to create their own custom avatars and embark on the Dragon Ball world, including important world events, 3D combat, and more.
The sequel launched only a year later, as DRAGON BALL XENOVERSE 2 became the franchise staple, as many players turned it into their main hub of gameplay and enjoyed the overall MMO vibe. It's safe to say that fans of the anime and the videogames alike were encouraged to check out the franchise, if not just to get a feel of the world and create their own characters and experiences.
Now, the latest entry is reaching its 10-year anniversary, and BANDAI NAMCO has officially announced a brand-new entry to the franchise, which will invite players to delve into an unexplored age. Taking place in the AGE 1000, players will get to decide which hero they want to be as they embark on West City.

There's not a lot of information about DRAGON BALL XENOVERSE 3 aside from the animated announcement trailer. Currently, the Steam listing has it as a single-player experience, so it's unclear whether this latest entry will diverge from the MMO focus of the old ones.
You can check out the announcement trailer above, as DRAGON BALL XENOVERSE 3 is set to release sometime next year in 2027 for PC via Steam, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.
