Bandai Namco Releases CODE VEIN II Story Trailer
The highly anticipated sequel to CODE VEIN has been on its way, as players have been looking forward to a follow-up to the 2019 release. Now, CODE VEIN II is already well into its marketing, as Bandai Namco shares trailers for the upcoming experience.
The latest CODE VEIN II trailer released on the BANDAI NAMCO Europe YouTube channel offers us a four-minute look at the story. Some cinematics, characters, and the overall narrative that we'll be embarking on when the title launches next year.
Taking control of a Revenant Hunter, players will have to fight to prevent the cataclysmic event known as the Resurgence, which threatens the very fate of the world. To save the world, we'll be travelling across time to rewrite history while accompanied by Lou MagMell, a Revenant girl who revives the protagonist with the power of her own heart.
The trailer introduces us to a vast cast of characters that we'll meet, alongside showing off the post-apocalyptic landscape that we'll embark through. The combat is also briefly demonstrated, though CODE VEIN II takes a different approach from the original by deviating from its online co-op roots and focusing on a single-player narrative where players can drain blood from foes to unlock various skills and different build strategies.
If you're interested in checking out the trailer, you can find it embedded above! CODE VEIN is set to launch on the 30th of January 2026, with pre-orders available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Windows PC via Steam.
