Battlefield 6 Breaks Records in the Franchise's History!
The latest entry to Battlefield Studios and Electronic Arts' Battlefield franchise released on the 10th of October this month, following a very successful open beta in August. Three days into its release, Battlefield 6 shattered the franchise's sales record, selling over seven million copies. In just the first 72 hours, it had over 172 million matches, over 15 million hours watched on streams, and the highest number of players in Battlefield history.
The game's General Manager, Byron Beede, had the following to say:
