Bongo Cat Releases New Collaboration with Paid Idle Title, Typing Farmer

Bongo Cat is no stranger to working with developers and publishers to release new skins built around wishlisting and following specific experiences. Back when Marcel Curawkwa and Julius Krüger earned their fame in 2025, the title began collaborating with indie titles to funnel the massive amount of players into wishlists, follows, and more.

This hasn't stopped a year down the line, with some titles receiving specific promotions. But in addition to that element, Irox Games also does cross-promotions with games, where players can buy the latest launch and get the corresponding skin.

This happened for one of the biggest titles of this last Steam Next Fest, Tap Tap Loot, which offered players the chance to get a few skins themed around the animals in that title. Though that was no surprise, since this was published by Irox Games themselves, it was still regular behaviour for the team to collaborate.

The latest one of these is for Typing Farmer, one of the most-anticipated titles releasing this week. Following in the idle tapping gameplay, this title has players taking on a farm and growing it with key strokes. This allows them to decorate, get animals, plant crops, and more.

Bongo Cat's collaboration for this is two in-game items: an Angry Tomato Stray Hat and the Pig Skin. Falling somewhere in the realm of paid cosmetics (of which Bongo Cat has) and receiving a game for your purchase, this means that once players get Typing Farmer, they also receive the two Bongo Cat–exclusive items.

Then, essentially, it's a paid cosmetic priced at £3.99 with the 10% launch discount, but there are various bundle purchasing options for Typing Farmer, meaning that owners of titles like Tap Tap Loot, Maltese's Fluffy Onsen, Tiny Pasture, or Fishing Journey can get a discount on the game and cosmetic combo.
