Bongo Cat's Latest Update Adds a Chat Function and New Collaboration Cosmetics!
Bongo Cat is an idle typing-based game where players will watch a little cat (or other animals now!) bongo away on their screen while they go about their day. They can then exchange the tapping points for various cosmetics!
In the latest update, the team announced that multiplayer lobbies now support small messages that can be sent! For those who don't love the idea, there's also the ability to disable it (alongside emotes) in the multiplayer tab.
Lobbies also now have three settings: Public, Invite Only, and Friends/Lobby Code. Thanks to this, players can join others through the "Join Random Lobby" option, which will send them to a random Public one.

In addition to this, Bongo Cat has various collaboration cosmetics available at the time of writing! One of them is for their newly published game, Tap Tap Loot; there are two ways to unlock cosmetics for this one: by wishlisting the game or by buying it, which gives players the Goo Cat, Jester Hat, Bunny Skin, and Bunny Ears in celebration.
The other collaboration is with MilkwayStudio's upcoming title, Typing Farmer. By wishlisting this upcoming idler, where players can grow and heal a little keyboard farm by typing or clicking, they'll receive a cow skin and a chicken accessory.
Make sure to get the cosmetics before the collaboration ends! This can be done by booting up Bongo Cat and following the gift icon. If you'd like even more cosmetics and/or want to support the game, all the DLCs are at a 20% off until the 27th of April.
Bongo Cat and Tap Tap Loot are available on Steam now, and Typing Farmer can be wishlisted.
