Borderlands Comes to Fortnite in New Crossover

Fortnite is crossing over with yet another popular franchise in a new Borderlands event. This event doesn’t just see characters from Borderlands coming into Fortnite, but also includes some changes to the map based off the world of Pandora from the Borderlands franchise.

This desert planet Pandora can be seen whenever inside the border that protects players from the storm. It not only changes the landscape, but also slightly alters the art style of the game, with the thicker black borders around the characters resembling the cel-shaded style of the Borderlands franchise.

New challenges will also be available which reward players with Borderlands-inspired loot. New cosmetics will also be included with the event - the Psycho enemy and the quirky fan favourite robot Claptrap.

As per usual, the new update will also include various patches and fixes to help further balance and polish the game as well. The event will run from now until the 10th September.
