Can you Face The Witches' Wrath In The Witchfire Gameplay Trailer?

In the dark fantasy world of The Astornauts' Witchfire, humanity is fighting a losing battle against the Witches, vastly powerful beings wielding forbidden pagan magic to control deadly enemies, lay hidden traps, and rule over their areas with vicious tyranny. Now an ancient relic has been found in the domain of one, a relic that could turn the tide. You, an elite Witch hunter referred to as a Preyr, have been sent to find it and push back against the undead hordes.

The titular Witchfire is the power that runs through the veins of every Preyr, giving them superhuman abilities, in addition to magic of their own. However, as you arrive at the Witch's island, you are all but drained of it. Luckily, every time you slay one of the undead hordes, you will be suffused with a bit more blazing fire and gain its power! Beware, however, as the more you grow in power, the shinier a beacon you will be for the Witch's ire. Gain enough power and the Witch will send powerful cataclysms to thwart you. So be ready, or perish.

In this dark fantasy shooter, player freedom is given emphasis. Choose your own loadout of weapons, spells, and items, making your own goals and plans for each run! Want to try out a new gun and get some Witchfire? Go for it! Want to go on a rampage and slay the keeper of the keys? God be with you! Only you decide which path to embark upon. And fear not, a Preyr is effectively immortal. Though beware, the Witch knows this too...
