CandySwipe Developer Takes To Kickstarter Whilst Battling King

UPDATE: Since time of writing the Kickstarter for CandySwipe 3.0 has been cancelled. The reason for the cancellation is currently unknown.

Albert Ransom, whose still-ongoing battle against Candy Crush Saga creators King we covered in February, has begun a Kickstarter campaign to create CandySwipe 3.0.

Under Risks & Challenges he states:

If our trademark is cancelled by King and we are ordered to change the name, we will do so, but continue with the development of the game under a new name if need be.

So what will CandySwipe 3.0, hopefully being released by February 2015 consist of?

The new game will include:
-more dynamic game play, added features while sticking to the core players enjoy.

-multiple themes in new dynamic level selection and saved levels

-complete graphic redesign while sticking to the core look and feel

-added animations to make the game feel more alive

-multiple achievements

-updated theme music and sound effects

-updated social integration to better compete with friends and family

The game will be free on Android and iOS, with a paid ad-free version also available.
