Cat Chess Adds Steam Deck and Gamepad Compatibility Among Other Things in Week One Update!
Developed by Capricia Labs and published by Capricia Productions, Cat Chess is a newly released chess title! Players get to enjoy the classic game with a cat twist on top.
Cat Chess has been out for a week now, and the team wanted to showcase what they've changed, improved, or added from the feedback received, offering a heartfelt thank you for the support. Here's everything they've changed in the game so far:

- Added the Beach Chessboard.
- New Gold Cat colour customisation.
- Added victory dance and special attack animations for the King.
- New feature: ELO overlays and opponent tracking logic.
- Full support for Steam Deck and gamepad, as well as refined cursor speed and input fields.
- New piece type indicator and global UI scale settings.
- UI/UX overhaul, with complete rework of Main Menu, Chess Result screens, and Options.
- Three more languages added.
- DX12 support.
- Fixed Steam Achievement tracking.

In addition to that, Capricia Labs is working on adding a better explanation of why stalemate is a stalemate and adding a harder campaign option for those who aren't new to chess.
If this sounds interesting, check Cat Chess on Steam! The 15% introductory offer (which drops the price to £5.34) is still available until the 28th of July. Don't forget to wishlist or follow the game to show support!
