Commandos 2 - HD Remaster Coming to Nintendo Switch

Kalypso Media has revealed that its HD re-release of real-time strategy classic, Commandos 2: Men of Courage, is coming to Switch on the 4th December. Titled Commandos 2 - HD Remaster, it released earlier this year on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, Max and Linux; this Switch release, however, marks the first time players will be able to take the game with them on the move (if you don't count laptops). Originally developed by Pyro Studios back in 2001, Commandos 2 sees players taking charge of a squad of elite allied commandos in World War II as they venture behind enemy lines and strike devastating blows to the axis forces. Each of the unique characters has unique skills and abilities that you'll need to master if you hope to survive.

This remastered version of the game offers more than a mere graphics touch-up: the tutorial and campaign missions has been revamped; the UI has been improved across the board; and the game's controls have been optimised for both Joy-Con controllers and the Switch Pro Controller.
