Cook Tasty South-Indian Food In Venba

As part of Nintendo’s latest Indie World Showcase, Team Visai has announced that their narrative cooking-themed game Venba will be heading to Nintendo Switch and PC in Spring 2023!

You take on the role of an Indian mother, Venba, who immigrates to Canada with her family in the 1980s. Players will cook various dishes and decipher long lost family recipes. Through branching conversations, explore this story about family, love and loss. Venba's recipe book gets damaged when she moves to Canada so it's up to you to restore the lost recipes to cook delicious dishes that serve as a connection to the home Venba and her family left behind.

Venba showcases some truly gorgeous 2D visuals and animations, and with a unique soundtrack inspired by Tamil Moves and Music, this is shaping up to be a food-fuelled emotional rollercoaster of a family trying to find their way in life.
