Crimson Capes Shares Release Date Trailer for 2D Cooperative Soulslike
Poor Locke is proud to announce the upcoming release date for the team's 2D soulslike experience, Crimson Capes. The title features fluid pixelated-art animation with a hand-crafted world, giving players the opportunity to jump into the action either alone or in co-op by picking from a roster of four characters.
Released on the team's official YouTube channel is the release date announcement trailer, giving players a bit of a look at the upcoming title, including some of the combat, enemies, bosses, invasions, and more. It's a pretty in-depth look at what awaits those who are looking to start their journey.
In Crimson Capes, players take on the role of Milon the Tempest, a witch-hunter who is tasked with bringing down a conspiracy of wizards across the kingdom of Amvros. Completing this quest will be harder than expected, though, as players will have to battle against 25 bosses and uncover the conspiracy.

Here's what you can expect from Crimson Capes:
- Soulslike-inspired combat, demanding deliberate moves and precision.
- Take on the role of one of four playable characters, each with different weapons, movesets, and skill trees.
- Souls-inspired exploration that rewards player curiosity.
