Daemon X Machina: Titanic Scion Story Expansion "Into the Abyss" Launches

Daemon X Machina: Titanic Scion Story Expansion "Into the Abyss" Launches

Marvelous USA have today launched the first major expansion for their dark sci-fi action title, Daemon X Machina: Titanic Scion.

The story expansion titled “Into the Abyss” takes Outers to the brand-new Survey Zone: Locus Initi, where players can experience brand-new story quests, fight challenging enemies, and acquire powerful new gear.

Survey Zone: Locus Initi will allow players to reach the location of the once inaccessible Genesis Tree, a gigantic tree visible from many areas in the base game.

Explore the new landscape in an Arsenal (mech suit) as players travel on foot, fly through the skies, or gallop on horseback across Locus Initi’s plains, swamps, and mountains.

In the new storyline, which breaks from the main narrative, the Reclaimer Blossom has players ordered to investigate an alien landscape teeming with Femto-enhanced enemies.

Beyond battling the dangerous enemies localised in Locus Initi, players can also take on an Axiom base hidden within the Genesis Tree to earn bigger rewards in high-octane action with new customisable designs and loadouts for your Arsenal, going so far as to make it nimble in combat.

A free update will also release at the same time as the expansion, which includes additional bug fixes and improvements to the game and further customisation and communication options with new paid DLC.

This release also introduces two new sets of cosmetic DLC: the Stamp Set (which are communication stamps based on the Reclaimers and Sovereign Axiom) and the Avatar Customisation Pack 5, made up of four facial accessories.

The new items in this expansion will supplement the five DLC packs that were released late last month.

The sequel to DAEMON X MACHINA is now available on all platforms digitally in a Standard Edition and Digital Deluxe Edition, including the “Into the Abyss” Expansion Pack and more cosmetic packs, and a Super Digital Deluxe Edition, including all content with a digital art book and soundtrack.

Daemon X Machina: Titanic Scion is also available physically through the Marvelous USA Online Store and participating retailers in a standard physical edition, with a physical Limited Edition including a 15-track CD soundtrack, art book, acrylic stand, 3-set flight tags, and 3-set patches in a custom box.
