DeathStick Reveal Teaser

Developer TeamNora recently unveiled its upcoming 2D platformer, DeathStick, set to release on Steam and Switch Q3 of 2022. Combining metroidvania exploration with a combo-based fighting system and a unique world-switching traversal mechanic, DeathStick looks like one to watch out for.

Set in the world of Aarkalia, players embody Mako, a young girl who must fulfil her destiny and defeat an ancient (and presumably evil) deity. There's a lot of pixel-art beauty and intrigue packed into just a short 23-second trailer. Check it out above.

DeathStick is planned for a Q3 2022 release on Steam and Switch.
