Destiny 2: Curse of Osiris Gets Updates and Trailer

During the first of three live streams about the upcoming expansion for Destiny 2, Bungie released the opening cinematic along with plenty of details.

Firstly, the opening cinematic is rather epic and funny and really helps to set the scene for the expansion as well as introduce more of Osiris himself. As we know already he is Ikora's mentor and the most famous warlock in the history of the Vanguard.  We are also introduced to the first talking ghost, besides our own, Sagira who is also the first female ghost. She is also voiced by Morena Baccarin by the way, which is awesome. As the trailer unfolds we find out that the two are separated and that will likely be where players come into play and find Sagira.

Moving passed the trailer we got a number of details for Curse of Osiris. The character level will be raising to 25 with the power level cap going up to 330. Mercury will become a destination with the Lighthouse being a social space, new quests, missions, strikes, adventures and more to be discovered. Most interestingly is the new Raid Lair which, though not a completely new raid, will see players enter a new level of the Leviathan to experience a whole new challenge with new encounters. The idea here is to allow for Bungie to create new Raid content more often and up to a new standard as well as giving players more Raid content, more often. This does however mean that players will likely be spending the first year of Destiny 2 on the Leviathan.

Destiny 2: Curse of Osiris will be releasing on 5th December for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
