Digimon Story Cyber Sleuth: Complete Edition Will Discontinue Steam Trading Cards Feature

Developed by h.a.n.d., Inc. and published by BANDAI NAMCO Entertainment Inc., Digimon Story Cyber Sleuth: Complete Editionreleased on the 17th of October 2019 on Steam.

The team recently announced on a Steam post that they will be discontinuing Steam Trading Cards for Digimon Story Cyber Sleuth: Complete Edition on the 30th of July. Those that players already had in their inventory will remain available.

There was no reason given, leading many to comment, asking for more information. This led to many speculating and offering theories, such as the attempt at artificial scarcity, the possible shutdown of the servers, the delisting of the game, or simply an issue with licensing.

Unfortunately, we won’t know the cause until — or if — BANDAI NAMCO decides to offer more information. Regardless, players who care to get the badge or Steam Trading Cards have until the 30th of July at 11:00 PM to get them.
