Disney Dreamlight Valley's New Free Update Celebrates Valentine's Day with Lady, Tramp, and More

Last year, during the Disney Dreamlight Valley 2025 Showcase, Gameloft gave us a look at all of the free content updates that players will be able to expect throughout the year. The free content roadmap offered us a look at three major content updates that we could anticipate, and the first one has already arrived!

The new developer video on the official YouTube channel for the game gave us a look at what we can expect to arrive in this latest update. The three-minute-long trailer gives us a look at what's coming in the update called "Puppy Love", which introduces Lady and Tramp to the mix of Disney villagers.

The video then goes on to talk about the Premium Shop items and Battle Pass arriving with the free update. Everything here is themed around Valentine's Day, featuring Lady and the Tramp–inspired items, looks, and more. Of course, the beloved couple Mickey and Minnie Mouse will be getting matching Dream Styles, and Tony's Restaurant makes it to the Valley.

In the Premium Shop side of things, players will be able to get new Spring Cherry Blossom set look for the Dream Castle and some other buildings, such as Chez Remy and the Plaza. These looks will be part of the Premium Shop, and will alter unchangeable elements of the Valley to fit a more specific theme (we've seen this before with Halloween and Christmas last year).

The video also revealed the events coming up throughout the update so that players can prepare their calendars:

• Valley Valentine's Event — 11th–25th of February
• Lucky U Event — 11th–17th of March
• Eggstravaganza Event — 1st of April (no announced end date yet)

Each event will come with new and returning rewards, giving players the opportunity to get the items they might have missed out on the previous year. The Eggstravaganza Event specifically also has changes to the way players acquire eggs, as they'll now be able to fish for them.

Finally, the YouTube video update talks about the upcoming quality-of-life feature where players will be able to select several items in build mode. This should allow Valley Villagers to move furniture more easily, bulking them together and ensuring their perfect masterpiece doesn't get destroyed.

The Puppy Love update releases on the 11th of February 2026.
