Divinity Original Sin 2 Heading to Kickstarter Soon

Divinity: Original Sin is a well received isometric RPG and a great experience for many people. It had its success from a Kickstarter alpha to a full game and it remains a well respected game made by a respectable company.

Now they will take a shot with Kickstarter once again for Divinity Original Sin 2. Larian Studios will be returning to Kickstarter on 26th August. At the upcoming PAX Prime Larian Studios will have a playable prototype for Divinity Original Sin 2.

They have already stated why they wish to do a Kickstarter again:

Divinity: Original Sin wouldn’t be the game it was without the input from our Kickstarter backers & Steam Early Access players. There were a lot of them and they pushed us forwards in directions we hadn’t anticipated when we started development.

They show a clear respect for their community and hopefully this will churn out a second great product. You can vote on potential Kickstarter rewards here.
