Divinum Announces Release Date and Showcases New Trailer!

Sigil Games, the developer and publisher, recently announced the release date of their upcoming action-adventure title, Divinum! In it, players will embody a female protagonist called Fjor; after her homeland is invaded by an outside threat, she must take up her weapon and become stronger.

As she was born under the Guardian celestial blessing, she'll need to harness the ancestral legacy and use it to protect everything that's sacred to her and her people. Gameplay-wise, this means players will explore the island's surface and underground, through forgotten caves and ominous swamps, to find the hidden secrets, hone their skills, and fight the upcoming hordes.

Divinum takes inspiration from the hack-and-slash genre, offering players many abilities to experiment with and master. Fjor will have access to two distinct primary weapons and special skills, which allow her to take control of the battle.

While adventuring, players will come across secrets and bosses; these will offer Runes that will change combat. Instead of the usual upgrades, an example offered being +5% damage, these items will add unique bonuses to modifiers that can change the tide of a fight, though some will come with their downsides.
