Don't Miss Out on Echoes of the End's All-time Low Discount After Massive Rehaul Update

Developer Myrkur Games, alongside publisher Deep Silver, released Echoes of the End: Enhanced Edition during the summer on the 12th of August 2025. This ambitious debut title is an exciting, narrative-driven action-adventure title within the AA sphere of the videogame industry, but the launch missed the mark for some fans.

The title was received with mixed reception across critics and players alike, with an average critic score of 66 and 6.8 user score on Metacritic. While the reception wasn't glowing, developer Myrkur Games didn't shy away from the criticism and chose, instead, to embrace it, working throughout the coming months to create a second version — essentially a remaster — of the game, titled Echoes of the End: Enhanced Edition.

There have been many changes fuelled by player feedback, as the team spoke about it at length in a seven-minute-long video. It's an impressive overhaul, and it incorporates player feedback thoughtfully.

The launch of the Enhanced Edition also came with an almost console-wide discount — players can pick up Echoes of the End: Enhanced Edition for a limited time at a 40% discount. This brings the price down from £32.99 to £19.79 until the 13th of November, but it's only available on some of the consoles.
