DON'T NOD's Upcoming Sci-fi Adventure, Aphelion, Got a Gameplay Trailer!

Developed and published by DON'T NOD — a team renowned for various hit titles like Banishers: Ghost of New Eden, Life is Strange, and Jusant, among others — is working on an action-packed sci-fi adventure. In it, players will experience tense stealth gameplay and tons of exploration.

Ariane is one of the two astronauts sent to a newly discovered planet, Persephone, which might be what humanity needs to save itself from extinction, as Earth is becoming uninhabitable. Her and her partner Thomas are on a mission to survey and determine whether humanity can safely prosper... but it all starts off wrong when their ship crash lands.

Aphelion invites players to explore the uncharted and frozen world that holds secrets beneath the ice. The various alien terrains might be beautiful, but they're equally treacherous, so players' tools — such as their oxygen tank and grappling hook — will come in handy as they gather clues about Persephone's mystery.

Players will get to play as both Thomas and Ariane, and they've both got their own strengths. The former is resourceful in his investigating, and the latter is great at high-stakes parkour!

It's not just the hostile lifeform that threatens the life of the duo of astronauts: it's also the reality-bending phenomenon! Regardless, stealth will always be players' best friend in Aphelion.
