Dying Light Enhanced Edition Announced

Dying Light Enhanced Edition Announced

Dying Light's big expansion, The Following arrives on the 9th of February 2016, and alongside this developers Techland have announced a brand new Enhanced Edition of the original game for console and PC.

Much like the typical Game Of Year Edition or Gold Edition, this package is basically the game along with all the available downloadable content included, as well as any updates or additions the game may have received during its original release. And for Dying Light there was plenty.

Here is a run down of what's included:

  • Legend System
  • Bounties
  • New Parkour moves
  • New enemy attacks and behaviours
  • New NPC models
  • Enhanced facial expressions
  • Improved human enemy AI
  • Improved volatile AI
  • Greater firearm variety
  • HUD and video filter customisations
  • Audio Upgrades
  • Console performance upgrades
  • Gameplay quality improvements
  • Overall game look and feel improvements
  • #DrinkForDLC content

But fear not, the content above isn't limited to the Enhance Edition and is available to all those who own the game.

Also included is the games season pass which includes: The Following, The Bozak Horde, the Cuisine and Cargo missions, Be the Zombie mode and the Ultimate Survivor bundle.

The Following takes place in a huge new area (same size as original maps combined), along with drivable buggies, new enemies, weapons and parkour moves. That's why the season pass is getting a bump in price, from £16 to £24. So for original owners be quick in your purchase. If not you can always get the content separately for £16.

Dying Light Enhanced Edition launches 9th of February, 2016 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.

In the meantime, be sure to check out our of the original game review here.
