Elite Dangerous Console Commanders Can Now Transfer to PC

With the cessation of development on Elite Dangerous: Odyssey for consoles, developer Frontier has confirmed that console commanders will be able to transfer their save data to a PC version of the game.

The short version is, you will need to create a new PC account so that you can transfer your console progress to it. As part of the transfer you will receive a free copy of Elite Dangerous: Horizons. If you want to experience everything that Odyssey has to offer, however, you will have to purchase that.
