Elite Dangerous: Horizons For Xbox One And Patch 2.1 Dated

On this week's "On The Horizon" Beta Feedback community stream, Frontier Developments confirmed the release date for the latest update, "The Engineers" and also gave us a firm date for when Elite Dangerous: Horizons itself will hit the Xbox One.

Patch 2.1, known as "The Engineers" will be available to PC owners of Horizons on 26th May. This brings the headline feature of crafting equipment upgrades via the Engineers themselves as well as a large mission revamp and a whole range of quality of life improvements.

The other big announcement from the stream was that we finally have an actual confirmed date for Elite Dangerous: Horizons on Xbox One. 3rd June is the big day and Frontier confirmed that it would contain all the content and features of both "Planetary Landings" and "The Engineers" at launch with the intent of keeping the rest of the Horizons season of updates in sync across both platforms

Elite Dangerous: Horizons will be available as an upgrade for existing Xbox One owners for £19.99/$29.99/€24.99 or for new players as part of a new Xbox One Commander Deluxe edition along with the base Elite Dangerous and The Commander Pack (a collection of 18 ship paint jobs spread across the Sidewinder, Cobra Mk. III and the Viper Mk. III) for £39.99/$59.99/€49.99.

The above pricing also applies to the PC version of Horizons, with the new Commander Deluxe Edition and Commander Pack available via both the Frontier Store and Steam.
