Elite: Dangerous to Memorialise Leonard Nimoy
In a forum post about the name of the next Community Goal space station, Executive Producer Matthew Brooks stepped in when the topic went to "Why not call it after Leonard Nimoy?". After all, the actor had a huge impact on the scifi genre with his portrayal of Spock, the Vulcan science officer on the original Star Trek series.
Just a heads up that there'll be a Nimoy Memorial station added in the Wings update (1.2), so the Yembo station is still open for other suggestions.

Leonard Nimoy is also being celebrated by Star Trek Online, with a memorial placed on the planet Vulcan.
The actor passed away at 83, leaving behind a mass of film credits as well as some videogames, most commonly as Spock in games based on the Star Trek franchise. Mr Nimoy also voiced Master Xehanort in the Kingdom Hearts games, the narrator in Civilization IV and the titular Seaman.

I really need to get back into playing this. Took a break when Evolve released and now it's difficult to jump back in.

I was playing all the time, but then I took a break and now I can't get pumped enough to load it up past updating...

Yeah, that's exactly what I'm like at the moment. I haven't forgotten how to play or anything, it's just difficult to get back into it. I think it's because of the whole "it's basically single-player". Hopefully with the new Wings update, I can start playing it with other people and it will become enjoyable again.

Personally, I like flying around by myself. I was totally in when they said it would be offline as well as online. I like not being shot by someone trolling, for instance.

I don't mind offline, but not for too long . I don't stick with a game unless I can play it with other people, usually in a co-op mode.

I wonder if that would make a good Versus article...
