Eric Hirshberg, Activision CEO, is stepping down in March
The current CEO of Activision has announced that in March of this year he will be stepping down from the position.
Eric Hirshberg joined the company over eight years ago and since joining has seen the company through a lot. This includes the on going success of the Call of Duty series along with the launch of the Destiny series. Currently the company is looking for a replacement and no mention of why he is stepping down has been given.
It is worth noting that both Call of Duty: WWII and Destiny 2 were the top selling games in 2017 according to Activision so it's fair to say that Eric Hirshberg has done his job well.

I'll be the new CEO, sign me up! Can't be too hard, right?

Remember: Your prime directive is to perpetuate microtransactions throughout all future releases. It's all about returns to shareholders. Don't worry about the gamers. They're just the witless sheep you'll fleece for massive dividends. Best of luck in your new role.
