Escape From Duckov Officially Releases on Steam with Launch Trailer
Developed by Team Soda and published by bilibili, Escape From Duckov was one of Steam's most highly wishlisted titles, and it recently launched on Steam, giving players the opportunity to jump into the single-player extraction shooter. Inspired by Escape from Tarkov, you will head out into a world ruled by ducks and complete missions for the other ducks in the overworld. We checked out the hectic shooter, as Dylan Pamintuan has always been curious about the genre but never cared for the online elements — read his review to find our thoughts here!
Customise your duck and head into the egg-shaped world in search of loot and weapons to make your extractions easier. Completing quests includes hectic shootouts incorporating fog-of-war and cartoon characters, though it has a customisable difficulty for those who don't want to suffer at the wings of the NPCs.
Here's what Jeff Chen, the Team Soda producer, had to say about the launch:
The entire team is thrilled to finally hatch Escape From Duckov into the wild and let players explore mysterious maps, loot and shoot fowl foes, and egg-stract to the safety of outer space. We are extremely grateful to our flock of fans and followers who’ve supported us along the way through development.
The launch trailer gives us a look at the gameplay and shooting mechanics that await those who wish to enter the experience. If you're interested in trying out the title, it's out now and you can jump into it for £17.99 via Windows PC on Steam.
