Eterspire's New Bah Randa's Rotten Rampage Update is Live!

The newest Eterspire update is live now! Let's get into everything players can expect from this latest patch. Starting with the ugly and stinky Bah Randa!

A new Remnant arrives at the shores of Aetera, and his name is Bah Randa, The Stenchful! This ugly new enemy can be found at level 110 by taking the map to Captain Quinta in Stonehollow Port, and after completing the quest A Shell of a Problem. Players can slay him in for a chance to get his pet and his rare Stinky Aura, which even comes with its buzzing fly effect!

Those who are rejoicing in the recent fishing updatemight be happy to know that several fishing tools can be equipped as cosmetics: the Fishing Rod, Excellent Fishing Rod, Heat Resistant Fishing Rod, and Ghostly Fishing Rod! These will be visible while fishing.

In addition to that, the Harpoon, Drakonic Harpoon, and Stalking Net can also be used as cosmetic weapons! The Eterspire Store will host the long-requested Golden Fishing Rod!

The Aquarium, which was added in the last patch, offers new dialogue options that allow players to get more details about their catches once the fish are added to the tank.

Last but not least, keep an eye out for the new pop-up that alerts when the inventory space has run out! This will prevent players from wasting time.

The Eterspire Store got a new Snail Set, which can be purchased directly (meaning it's not in the gacha boxes). It brings the Snail Shell, Snail Antennae, and the Snail Fishing Rod!

While that's all in terms of new content, there's more info about what's coming. Namely, the team is working on major improvements to the controller gameplay! The main focus is the user interface, as these steps are towards the Steam Deck verification and the upcoming Apple TV!

Finally, Stonehollow Workshop — the developer and publisher — mentioned an upcoming change to their scheduling. Beginning in September, Eterspire will get updates on the first and third Tuesday of every month; if the date falls on a holiday, it will release the following day instead. This means that the update planned for the 28th of August will now happen on the 1st of September, which is a Tuesday.
