Every Champion Released in 2XKO During 2026

During the early release of 2XKO, we took a look at all of the characters that would be available for Season 1, which gave us an idea about what sort of playable characters we'd be able to take control of. Riot Games' free-to-play 2D fighter came out with a bit of a limited selection, bolstering only 12 characters at launch (which is much smaller than competitors have released).

However, the release date cadence has been surprisingly rapid for 2XKO, as we've had the ability to check out a set of characters for each release, rather than just one. This approach makes sense, since it's a tag fighter that allows players to play solo or co-op with a friend, needing to take two champions into battle (unless players opt for the Juggernaut playstyle).

It's still a surprising cadence, given the fact that the 2XKO team was massively downsized just a few weeks after launch. Coupled with the roguelike PvE mode, it's been a pretty great year for 2XKO, all things considered.

Now, we're taking a look at all of the new champions released during the first year of 2XKO. It's worth noting that not all of these are out, but we've had a pretty extensive look at the upcoming champions following Evo 2026, which announced the final two characters that'll be arriving in the fighter from League of Legends.

Here are all of the champions that released during 2026 for 2XKO:

• Senna
• Thresh
• Lux
• Samira

This now brings the roster from the 11 that were at launch (12 if you include Caitlyn, who was the launch character) to 17. Though Lux and Samira are yet to have a release date, we know that we'll learn more about their characters sometime in the fall of this year.
