Everything You Need to Know About Paralives' Upcoming Early Access, Plus the Trailer!
Developed by Alex Massé and team and published by Paralives Studio, Paralives is an upcoming life simulator that will allow players to create their own character, move into a house, and experience an in-game life.
The Early Access is expected to launch in a month, and to prepare the community, the team has released a quick explanation of what that means. This works as a reminder for the community to temper their expectations, as the game will release with bugs and some missing content.
This is what players can expect from the Early Access version of Paralives:
- An open-world town with shops and collectables, though it still lacks some activities.
- Paras can be fully customised and dressed, though some hairstyles and items are still not in the game yet.
- A variety of furniture and objects to decorate with in Builld Mode, with more coming in future updates.
- Some features of Build Mode aren't implemented yet, such as basements, pools, and smooth stair and roof tools.
- The Steam Workshop will be available immediately to both modders and players.
- Some of the features that have been teased aren't ready yet (such as using the zipline).
While the Early Access release won't have hundreds of hours of gameplay to offer, the team hopes to add more content and depth based on feedback consistently.
The team reassures the community that all future updates and expansions will be free (of course, as long as the game has been bought). The game is expected to be in Early Access for about two years, and various mechanics are set to come out throughout this time, such as cars, pets, and a deeper parenting system.
Paralives is set to release on Steam's Early Access on the 8th of December! Please keep in mind that it's a small team. Be kind!
