Fall Guys is Coming to Switch

The Switch is about to get one cutesy battle royale platformer richer! You may have forgotten it amidst the whirlwind of announcements and trailers in yesterday's Nintendo Direct stream, but Mediatonic's Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout was one of the first games to feature. The studio confirmed that the game would be coming to the Switch this summer.

Instead of the violent, shooter-based gameplay of most (potentially all) other battle royale games, Fall Guys takes a pacifist approach—which is no less competitive. Much like classic game shows such as Takeshi's Castle and Wipeout, it sees players competing to clear outlandish obstacles with the odds—and sometimes the obstacles themselves—stacked against them.

It's mad, colourful and a load of fun for players of any age. Fall Guys is a perfect fit for the Switch, and we can only imagine that countless players are eager to load it up on their consoles when it releases this summer.
