Future Games Show GC 2025: Hope in the City

Most people tend to have a soft spot for the place where they grew up; we know its corners like the backs of our hands, and it feels so safe and familiar. However, this feeling of comfort may not stand up to inspection, as the protagonist of the upcoming narrative mystery game, Hope in the City, quickly learns to their horror.

We find ourselves in the stylish shoes of 17-year-old Hope, who comes home one day after school to find her parents are simply… missing? Finding few answers and less help, Hope takes it on herself to investigate this odd phenomenon, using her keen artist’s eyes to find clues and piece together the mystery. As she dives deeper and deeper into the shadows of the city, she quickly learns a bit too much about her home and its secrets.
